Specialties

Other specialties that Raymond Seijas Plaster, Inc. excels at are Stucco Lap Siding, Simulated Stucco Brick and Simulated Stucco Stone.

Simulated Lap Siding
Simulated Lap Siding is actually built up with stucco on the exterior cement block wall by our stucco craftsmen. The simulated lab siding is extremely durable, and weather-tight because the stucco is put on thick. A simulated wood texture can then be added including indentations to simulate the nail holes. The end result is a rustic, wood-clad siding look, made of a durable, long lasting coating of stucco that can be painted any color you wish.

Simulated Brick
Simulated Brick pattern using stucco is also one of our specialties. Do you want the look of brick on your home or office, without the expense? Let our experts create the look and feel of brick using just stucco.

Simulated Stone
Much like simulated brick can be created with stucco; a skilled craftsman can also give your home or office the look and feel of stone using just stucco. Give us a call to discuss your unique project.

Plaster
Plaster is a building material used for coating walls and ceilings. It is manufactured as a dry powder and is mixed with water to form a paste when used. The reaction with water liberates heat through crystallization and the hydrated plaster then hardens. Plaster can be relatively easily worked with metal tools or even sandpaper. These characteristics make plaster suitable for an interior finishing, rather than a load-bearing material.

The term plaster can refer to gypsum plaster (also known as plaster of Paris), lime plaster, or cement plaster.

Plaster may also be used to create complex detailing for use in room interiors. These may be geometric (simulating wood or stone) or naturalistic (simulating leaves, vines, and flowers). These are also often used to simulate wood or stone detailing found in more substantial buildings.

The artisans at Seijas Plastering, Inc. are experts in the application of plaster and its many artistic and decorative uses. Contact us today for a free estimate.
